The Sitewide Disclaimer

You know the drill:
Nothing obtained through this site is intended to diagnose or cure any disease or medical condition. Nina does not claim to predict future events. The services provided are for personal development and/or entertainment purposes only. Please consult a qualified, licensed health or legal professional as appropriate before acting on any suggestions which Nina or I may offer.

Here is how to get in touch with Nina.

First, contact me by email at nina.oldmixon@gmail.com or by telephone at (845)228-8160. My name is William Bostock, and I handle this web site, the email, and the phones. Nina heeps her distance from electronics. (She says that I should, too.) She is perfectly happy to use a land-line telephone, though.

If you send an email, I will respond to the From: email address unless you tell me otherwise. If you call and have to leave a message, tell me your phone number or an email address where you can be reached.

When we correspond, I will ask you the nature of your question, problem, or situation: past lives, cleaning of an object, advice on where to put the furniture, and so on.

I will not ask you for anything more intrusive than your name at birth and your date of birth, since Nina requires that information to "find" you and get the answer to your question. Your question or concern will be relayed to Nina, who will estimate how much work and time it will take to find out the answer. I will then get back in touch with you and tell you what will be involved in getting your answer. You then decide whether or not to proceed.

If you feel uneasy about sharing anything at all about your questions with me, you can tell me that you would like to speak directly with Nina, and I will arrange a time for your conversation. Be aware, though, that if you choose to do this, the time that you spend on the telephone with Nina will appear on your bill.

Once I know how complicated or simple the question or situation is, then I will be able to estimate how much time Nina will have to devote to doing the work to answer you, and I will tell you how much Nina should be paid.

If you decide that you would like to speak with Nina, then that time should be paid for in advance.

People often wish to have a report which sets down the answers to their questions plus the advice which Nina wishes to give to you. If you would like such a report sent to you, Nina will tell me what she wishes to have me include, I shall write the report, and you will receive it by email or first class mail. You will be charged only for the time that Nina spends with me outlining the contents to go into the report.

Nina charges only for the time she works for you or talks with you or spends describing to me what she wishes to have put into a report for you. She asks for $2 per minute.

You may find, as many others have, that you learn the answer to your question from only ten minutes or so of Nina's work. People who speak directly to Nina and have an explanatory written report sent to them typically find their bill to be between $80 and $140, but the conversations with Nina and the reports are entirely optional.

I ask that Nina be paid in advance. Nina accepts payments made through PayPal to "nina.oldmixon@gmail.com".

If you would like a step-by-step guide to making a PayPal payment, CLICK HERE.

Nina also accepts checks or money orders made out to her and sent through the mail.

After we have received the payment, I will contact you to arrange a convenient time for another call with the answers to your questions. You can, of course, call me at any time at no charge.

And that's all there is to it.

The Problem with the Web

How are you to know that what Nina does is real? For that matter, how do you know that Nina is real? "Maybe he's just making all this up!" you say to yourself.

That's a central dilemma in appearing on the Web, and it accounts for Nina's strong reservations about this experiment. She has taught classes and seen clients face to face for years, and in those settings there is no room for doubt that she is real, and when you see her work and listen to her observations, very few people indeed remain skeptical about her ability.

But what could I show you on this site that would convince you? What video or testimonial could not be faked? (This is like the Turing Test: how do I know whether I am communicating with a human or a computer?) Would it help if I told you I think this is serious business and that I have no wish to put my spirit in peril by misleading anyone? Until I come up with something better, I think that I shall have to let it go at that.

In any event, the effectiveness of Nina's work is its own proof, whatever I say.

HOW TO PAY USING PAYPAL

If you already have a PayPal account, skip the first section.

I. SETTING UP A PAYPAL ACCOUNT

1. Go to www.paypal.com

2. Look on the left side of the screen; there is a box with two fields, one for the username and one for the password. At the bottom of this box, in small print, are the words "New to PayPal? Sign up." "Sign up" is underlined; click it.

3. A screen appears that lets you specify your country and language, plus the kind of PayPal account that you want to start. "Personal" in simplest and suffices for buying things and paying people at no cost; a "Personal" account is permitted to receive only a certain small number of deposits from other PayPal accounts each year. If you anticipate being paid by other people more than (at the moment) five times a year, you probably will want to choose a "Premier" account, but read the fine print, of course. There is a "Business" level, too.

Select an account type by clicking the "Get Started" button under the type of accounts you decided upon.

4. The "Enter Your Information" screen appears. Fill in the fields: email address (this will be your username; PayPal will also send notifications to this address), a password (twice), your first and last names, physical mailing address, and phone number.

Click the "Agree and Create Account" button.

5. Try logging out and then logging in, then follow the instructions below.

II. PAYING USING PAYPAL

1. Go to www.paypal.com

2. Log in to your account. (One of) Your email account(s) will be your username. You will have to enter the password you chose when you set up the account.

3. Your account page appears. There will be a row of blue tabs above the text. Click on "Prducts & Services". (Clicking the "Send Money" tab directly sometimes fails.)

4. The "Products & Services" screen appears. In the body are two columns of possible actions: "pay" is on the left and "get paid" is on the right. The picture at the top of the left-hand column is a "Pay for purchases and services" button in disguise: click on the picture.

5. The "Send Money" screen appears. Fill in the fields:

a. To: nina.oldmixon@gmail.com

b. Amount: (enter whatever we agreed upon)

c. (currency) USD - U.S. Dollars

d. Send money for: (click in the circle next to "Services/Other")

6. Click "Continue".

7. The "Review your payment and send" screen appears. Double-check everything. To change the amount being sent, click on the underlined word "change" near the top right corner. To send a message to Nina with the notification of the payment, scroll down the page and type in the text window at the bottom of the screen.

8. To send the funds, click the yellow "Send Money" button on the right, beneath the amount shown in boldface.

9. A confirmation screen should appear.

10. Remember to log out by clicking on "Log out", which is in the center of the top edge of the screen.
